Steven J. Lippmann, 55, of Mackinaw, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born August 6, 1965 in Chicago to Ronald H. and Lorraine Schnitzer Lippmann. He married Rebecca S. Angel.
Surviving are three sons, Chad Angel of Goodfield, Darin Angel of Florida and Zack Angel of Normal; one daughter, Katie Matej of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Susan) Lippmann of Pekin; two sisters, Carole (Darrell) Culbertson of Melrose Park, IL and Judy Grob of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Blaze.
Steve was a heavy machine operator for Gary Green in Morton and Stark Excavating in Bloomington. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Bloomington. He was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to fish and was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cubs fan.
His funeral was held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. A visitation was held from 11:00 to 12:45 am before the service at the funeral home. Cremation was accorded following the service.
