Last weekend, Hunger Ambassadors from the Olympia Pacesetters 4-H Club helped install a new Emergency Mini Food Pantry at Waynesville United Methodist Church behind the church on the alley. This EMFP was made possible using funds from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist grant the club earned in 2019.
The pantry is fully stocked with meal kits for those in need of help with food and snack kids for children in need of breakfast or snacks before or after school. The EMFP is available for ANYONE in need. It is a take as you need ministry mission of the WUMC in cooperation with the Oly Pacesetters.
