DeWitt County Deputies and Corrections Officers participated in "No Shave November/ December". Participating members donated $50 for each month to be allowed to grow a beard. The members of the Sheriff's Office and the J.W. Cook Memorial Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 101 voted to donate the funds raised to Battle Cross Crusaders.
