As previously reported, Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Fire Protection District EMT Kamryn Mattson's daughter, Ava, has been battling cancer the past few months. On April 2, at 10:02 AM, Ava gained her angel wings and is finally pain free.
Ava was surrounded by her family and close friends as she left this world.
May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
