The Stanford Police Department will again be participating in the DEA National Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24th from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Village Hall (206 W. Main St). This is an opportunity to safely discard any unneeded/expired prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medication.
In addition to prescription/OTC medication, we will also take any illegal substances without any judgment or arrests taking place. If you need help with recovering from substance abuse, or want to use this event as an initial step to get help, an officer will be on-site to help you. If someone is taking the intentional step to discard these substances and seek assistance, it is the intent of the Stanford Police Department to help you with that journey.
